- 1967 Researchwork begins on C02 lasers
- 1968 Basic research begins on a high-pressure, electrical discharge-excited C02 gas laser.
- 19761kW output is achieved ina prototype system.
- 1977Thefirst commercial system, Model ML-2000, is completed.
- 1979The first commercial DC-type ML-1 000 system is completed.
- 1980A 5kW oscillator is produced under the FMCS program.Thefirst commercial DC-type ML-3000 system is completed.
- 1981 The first commercial DC-type ML-5000 system is completed. The commercial SD-type ML-1 000 system is completed.
- 1982 The ML-1000P is awarded a Nikkan Kogyo Newspaper Prize as one of the 10 best new products of 1981.
- 1982 The SD-type ML-3P system is completed. The SD-type ML-1PE system is completed.
- 1982 The 25MH light-scan machining table is completed.
- 1983 The Sage-type ML-5KU and ML-1OKLJ laser systems are completed.
- 1984 26.5kw continuous output is achieved under the FMCS program. The ML-10S laser oscillators are completed.
- 1985 The ML-10E2 and 15S2 laser oscillators are completed.
- 1986 The SD-type ML-50C and 1 OOR laser oscillators are completed. The SD-type ML 1 OC and 25C laser oscillators are completed.
- 1986 The fast axis flow Iaser ML-1OSP laser oscillators are completed.
- 1989 Mitsubishi introduces the first 32-bft controlled HB Series Laser System.
- 1992 Mitsubishi introduces the HC series Laser Machines.

- 1993 Mitsubishi introduces the New F3 series Laser Resonator.
- 1994 Mitsubishi introduces the New High Speed HD Series Laser Resonator

- 1995 Mitsubishi introduces the 3020D Digital Resonator with 2000-watts Standard Power.
